Superintendent Looks For Creative Input in the Strategic Planning Process
The public is invited to join the Chambers County Board of Education at Community Forum Sessions, Monday, November 16 at LaFayette High School, or Thursday, December 3 at Valley High School from 6:00 until 7:30 pm.
Chambers County School Superintendent Mr. Leonard Riley, is leading the development of a Five Year Strategic Plan to guide the operations of the Chambers County Schools. A Strategic Plan includes all stakeholders in establishing the mission, vision, and operational strategies for improving student achievement (curriculum and instruction), facilities, technology, safety, finance, and human resources.
"These community forum events at out high schools are designed to give students, parents, employees, and community members an opportunity to discuss the future of our communities and to take action to improve education for every student in the Chambers County School System. Every person can make a difference," says Mr. Riley.
Following a brief overview presentation, participants will break into small discussion groups to share ideas about short and long range plans to guide our schools over the next five years.
