The Building Based Student Support Team also known as BBSST is a committee that assemble to discuss helpful ways to enhance the educational experience of general education students.  The committee members are made up of regular education teachers, the counselor, and principal.  Teachers who have concerns about a student's behavior, or academics, will meet with the committee to plan and get suggestions that they can use to implement for eight weeks.  If the suggestion did not provide in help for the student, the committee will reconvene and work until solutions are found for the student.  Parents are invited to the BBSST meetings when their child is being discussed.  Teachers meet with parents before they meet with the BBSST committee.
